Niarbyl Fishermen's Cottages - February 18, 2013. This row of traditional Manx cottages overlooking the beach at Niarbyl was restored by Manx National Heritage in first decade of the 21st Century. One of the cottages has been used in a number of well known movies including Waking Ned Devine and the Wartime POW Film "The Brylcreme Boys" amongst others. In both these film,s the location was supposed to be in Ireland - which does happen to be visible on a clear day across the Irish Sea.
